Position Summary

Responsible for preparing assembly materials, such as wire, cable, and sleeving materials in accordance with IPC620 workmanship standards. Perform various manual tasks such as cutting, de-jacketing, stripping, crimping and tinning wire/cable. Operate semi-automated press and stripping machines as well as other manual tools. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor or department manager.

Essential Duties

Verify traveler documentation for accuracy (part numbers, revs, quantities, etc.)
Check materials provided for physical damage or defects
Ensure that all materials are properly identified and packaged safely
Maintain work area clean and organized
Record used materials on work order traveler’s picklist
Monitor that materials prepared are in compliance with IPC620 workmanship standards
Sign work order traveler after process is performed
